Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all system-related problems on a real-time basis.
  • Act as a single point contact between the ERP Support Service provider and the Internal user,
  • Help users/management understand the various reports generated by the system and its utility for improving the organisation's overall performance.
  • Resolving network issues, configuring operating systems, and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.
  • Taking ownership of employee issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
  • Following standard procedures for properly escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Preparation of the Repairing and Maintenance Monthly Calendar for all sites and offices and performed accordingly.
  • CCTV Set-up at all project sites and offices and monitoring on daily basis.

User Complaint resolution and System Engineering

  • Ensure that all complaints received are investigated & and attended on time.
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Liaise with vendors and Third parties for problem-resolution

Network Engineering

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP
  • Procuring network equipment and managing Third parties involved with network installation
  • Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders

IT Asset Allocation and Maintenance

  • Ensure execution of scheduled preventive maintenance plan to avoid breakdowns
  • To maintain the inventory of the IT material/assets and update the same periodically
  • Ensure all available software/applications are upgraded from time to time and the organization has the latest versions at any given point in time.
  • Ensure all AMCs for all available IT infrastructure are renewed before the due date and the entire infrastructure covered under AMC at any given point in time.

IT Security & audit

  • Ensure system backup as per schedule on the server and individual PCs.
  • Ensure backup data is secure by periodically restoring the backup data.

User Rights & Email Account Administration

  • Assigning roles & and rights to new/existing employees as per HR Department & Department Head.
  • Creating email IDs for new employees as per request.

ERP User Support & Trouble Shooting

  • Ensure smooth functioning of ERP in the office as well as at the site.
  • Servicing and troubleshooting various ERP-related issues.
  • Formation of an internal troubleshooting team to address periodical issues.
  • One point contact for coordination with end users and the ERP team

ERP Report Availability

  • Ensuring optimum usage of ERP throughout real-time
  • Ensuring adequate report availability.

ERP Audit and Analytics

  • Providing ERP Analysis Report to Management on given date.
