Job Description

Overview

The React.js Developer plays a crucial role in developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows. They are responsible for building modular and reusable components and libraries, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications, and collaborating with the team for delivering scalable web applications. This role is essential in creating visually appealing and interactive interfaces, enhancing the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Developing new user-facing features using React.js
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Collaborating with the team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
Conducting code reviews and providing thoughtful feedback
Maintaining high code quality by writing unit tests and conducting thorough testing
Conducting performance tuning and improving usability
Staying up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices
Assisting in deploying applications and conducting troubleshooting when necessary

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
Hands-on experience with React.js and its core principles
Familiarity with server-side CSS preprocessors
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding efficient solutions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Experience with performance optimization and implementing responsive design
