Role:Environmental Reporting Analyst – HSEThis position ensures compliance with environmental regulations through data collection, analysis, and reporting, while providing guidance and support to internal teams on environmental issues. The Environmental Reporting Analyst reports to the Environmental Team Lead in Client in Bengaluru, India. Technical - Demonstrated regulatory, reporting, compliance or permitting experience in the oil and gas industry, refinery, or manufacturing facility. Experience in interpreting data and implementing programs for sustained performance and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical skills to solve problems or identify alternatives. Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements and ability to work within our systems of record and IT solutions. Capable of supporting desktop safeguard reviews through partnership with Wells, Operations, and BU Vendors. Experience in air emission reporting, waste management and managing environmental complianceLeadership -Demonstrates behaviors that are aligned with the Client Way. Understands HSE requirements specific to current role. Follows procedures, seeks understanding of hazards, and verifies necessary safeguards are in place and sufficient. Challenges norms and stops work when an unsafe condition or act may result in an undesirable event or if the task is unclear. What are we looking for?
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental reporting, compliance, or permitting in the oil and gas industry, refinery, or manufacturing facility.Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting methods and tools to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.Familiar with local, state and federal environmental regulations and reporting requirements, and able to communicate and coordinate with regulatory agencies effectively.Able to provide environmental guidance and support to internal customers, such as operations, maintenance, capital projects, technical, and HSE teams.Able to conduct quality reviews of environmental data and reports and identify and resolve issues and gaps.Grow Capabilities - Demonstrates competency across multiple environmental media including air, water, waste, biodiversity, and managing environmental compliance. Capable of prioritizing work in fast paced work environment to ensure high priority needs are met. Demonstrated competency in identifying important data for decision making and empowering others to make decisions. Removes barriers to achieving results. Uses impactful data to track performance. Seeks solutions to complicated environmental challenges and drives towards successful business outcomes. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide guidance on the applicability of environmental regulations for air, water, and waste, and evaluate alternatives to meet compliance requirements.Ensure data collection methods and practices comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standardsRecord and organize collected data systematically ensuring accuracy and completenessReview and analyze data trends and patterns to identify potential environmental issues, compile compliance evidence for reporting and to identify potential/ actual non-compliance.Undertake desktop assurance activities to identify potential environmental issues, compile compliance evidence for reporting and identify potential/ actual non-compliance.Prepare reports to demonstrate compliance with environmental permits and regulations.Identify and implement opportunities to embed and streamline environmental compliance activities within process data systems, for example automated alarming and notification systemsFacilitate compliance with environmental permits, monitoring, reporting, and notifications.Serve as support to the applicable BU for regulatory agency requests and audits.Partner with internal customers, such as operations, maintenance, capital projects, technical, and HSE teams, to compile data for assurance and reporting.Provide effective training for internal and external stakeholders on environmental data reporting and best practices.Perform quality reviews of environmental data and reports for issues and gaps.
