Area Credit Manager - ME ML

1. Assessing and evaluating the creditworthiness of ME ML loan applicants based on credit history, financial statements, and other relevant financial data to determine their eligibility for loan approval.

2. Managing the credit underwriting process, including the analysis of credit risk, loan-to-value ratios, and repayment capacity, to make informed decisions on loan approvals and credit limits for product financing.

3. Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential customers, conduct customer evaluations, and provide guidance on credit terms, loan structures, and financing options for MEML purchases.

4. Conducting thorough due diligence on loan applications, including verification of customer information, collateral valuation, and legal documentation, to ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.

5. Reviewing and analyzing market trends, industry benchmarks, and customer credit profiles to develop and refine credit policies, risk assessment frameworks, and loan approval criteria for MEML financing.

6. Managing the portfolio quality of MEML loans, monitoring loan performance, and implementing strategies for minimizing credit losses and delinquencies within the assigned area of responsibility.

7. Providing guidance and support to the sales and credit teams on credit-related inquiries, customer negotiations, and loan structuring to facilitate the efficient and effective processing of MEML loan applications.

8. Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices related to credit assessment, risk management, and loan approval processes for MEML financing.

9. Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of the product portfolio, key credit metrics, and recommended actions to optimize credit risk management and portfolio profitability within the designated area.

10. Collaborating with internal audit and compliance teams to facilitate audits, inspections, and reviews of credit processes, ensuring adherence to audit requirements and the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
