Principal Architect - Java/Spring Boot (20-30 yrs)

Experience :

- Minimum 15+ years of leadership experience in product design and development, and in leading cross-functional teams.

- Knowledgeable in newer technologies and tools.

- Knowledgeable in cloud-based deployments, SaaS, Microservices, and B2B implementations.

- Experienced in OOAD, Java, Spring Boot, ORM, and relational databases.

- Experienced in HCM, HRIS, or SCM is a plus.

- Familiarity with AI/ML is preferable but optional.

Location and Reporting

- Principal Architect will work from HWL India office in Bengaluru.

- This position will report to AVP, HWL India.

- Will require a flexible schedule to provide reasonable overlap with USA-based product leadership.

Responsibilities :

- Principal Architect is an innovator and visionary in the technical evolution of the product.

- Works with the product management team to deliver solutions using industry leading technologies.

- Employs world-class engineering practices for creating qualitative, resilient, and inspirational product.

- Works with the infrastructure team in enforcing compliance of key security regimes while ensuring infrastructure resiliency and disaster preparedness.Conducts planning sessions with development managers and team leads to validate/evolve application design.

- Facilitates adoption of TDD methodology with supporting process flows.

- Performs intermediate evaluation of ongoing projects for adherence to committed timelines and completeness.
