• Create 2D/3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Develop CNC cutter machine nesting programs to minimize material wastage.
• Develop manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and specifications for production.
• Design products ensuring fabric and cost optimization.
• Work on pattern making for efficient cutting and minimal wastage.
• Conduct prototyping and fitment tests to validate designs.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams for seamless execution.
• Implement Kaizen ideas to improve design and manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain and update Engineering Change Notes (ECNs).
• Optimize designs for various manufacturing processes.
• Work on new product development based on market trends and customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 quality standards.
• Assist in cost reduction projects by improving material selection and design.
• Support the sales & marketing team by providing technical insights.
• Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material selection and testing.
• Develop test procedures to check product durability and performance.
• Document design processes and maintain design history records.
• Assist in training production teams on design-related changes.
• Work on continuous improvement projects for better product performance.
