Job Description :

The ServiceNow ITOM Developer specializes in configuring and managing Discovery and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) on the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for setting up Discovery to automatically identify and map IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring data accuracy in the CMDB.

The developer works closely with IT teams to enhance visibility into the IT environment, maintain updated asset records, and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery to identify and map IT assets.

- Manage and maintain the CMDB, ensuring accuracy and alignment with IT infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot Discovery issues and optimize performance for reliable data.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure CMDB supports incident, problem, and change management processes.

- Document processes and create best practices for CMDB and Discovery management.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, specifically Configuration Management.

- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB modules.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules).

- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases, applications).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
