Job Description

Overview

Based in our Bangalore-INDIA office, PM Group have an opportunity for an experienced Collaboration & SharePoint Specialist and Document Management system to join their busy Collaboration Department. Reporting to the Collaboration Manager, the Collaboration & SharePoint Specialist will be responsible for supporting the department activities associated with Capital Projects.

Responsibilities

Below is a list to give you an idea of the type of activities you will be involved in. This is a new role in the organisation so you will be setting the standard for others that will join this growning team.
  • Global user daily support
  • System implementation, maintenance & auditing to ensure compliance with company quality procedures
  • Troubleshoot issues & problem solving on all Collaboration & SharePoint systems
  • User training both internally & externally (Client, Contractors, Vendors etc.)
  • Overall systems configuration & user security
  • Data & Content Management
  • Development / updating of appropriate system processes for relevant projects
  • Creation of guidelines & training manuals for 3 rd parties

Qualifications

Theres a lot involved in this role so we feel the following skills, qualifications and attributes will be good to have.
  • Ideally a third level qualification in BIS, Data Management or relevant Engineering/Science degree
  • A high proficiency with cloud based document management/collaboration platforms, specifically SharePoint or similar systems is essential
  • Experience of quality management systems or database principles a significant advantage
  • IT literacy and proficiency with MS Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is essential
  • Strong problem solving skills with aptitude to work rapidly and accurately under pressure
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in an Engineering or Construction Management
  • An organized self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
  • Able to maintain a professional demeanor in challenging situations.
  • Ideally a third level qualification in BIS, Data Management or relevant Engineering/Science degree or relevant experience
