Playto Labs is an early-stage angel funded startup by IIT Kanpur alumni, working to make kids future-ready through play. We are building toys, games and curriculum where kids can learn through play. Within a year of launch, we have paying customers from 33 countries and are working on a large international opportunity. The current core team at Playto Labs has earlier built Skyfi Labs where they developed 100+ experiential learning products for UG level students, authored papers in experiential learning and won awards. Those products have paying customers from 67 countries and are rated 4. 6+/5 on Google and FB with 1000+ reviews. With such a background, the team is now working on building highly engaging learning-by-doing products for kids. Playto Labs has raised a round of funding from some amazing angel investors who have built and exited startups successfully. Most of them invested after first becoming customers of Playto and seeing how the product is impacting their own children.
Job Description:
- The role is to lead our Content Marketing and Community Initiatives.
- It involves social media, events both online and offline, competitions, newsletters etc.
- Ideal candidate is a creative person who loves to engage with people and create value through events and content.
- You understand both people and social media very well.
- You are hands-on; you take initiative and get things done with minimal supervision.
- You can use AI and various tools to produce high-quality content.
- You are self-reliant and not dependent on the "team.
" You come up with initiatives, own them, and execute them.
- Social Media Content Ideas, Content Creation and Handling Social Media pages.
- Events Conduct online and offline events, competitions, talks etc.
- Content Work on Email Marketing, Newsletters etc.
- Monitor post-performance, engagement metrics, and audience insights to refine content strategy.
- Engage with followers, respond to queries, and manage online brand reputation.
- Generate reports with insights and recommendations for growth and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of 2-3 years working with social media/ community management/ events.
- Can engage people well.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills.
- Proficiency in content creation tools.
- Hands-on with social media analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently.
