Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Legal Professional with a strong background in litigation and non-litigation work within the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex legal matters, including property disputes, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities:

Litigation Responsibilities:

• Represent the organization or clients in real estate-related litigation, including property disputes, tenant/landlord conflicts, and construction issues.
• Prepare and review pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents for court proceedings.
• Coordinate with external counsel, if required, and oversee case progress.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to build robust arguments for litigation cases.
• Attend hearings, arbitrations, and mediations to advocate for favorable resolutions.

Non-Litigation Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements, including sale deeds, lease agreements, joint ventures, and construction contracts.
• Ensure compliance with real estate laws, local regulations, and corporate policies.
• Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, development projects, and risk assessments.
• Manage due diligence for property transactions, including title verification and encumbrance checks.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to facilitate approvals and resolve legal disputes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; a Master's degree or specialization in real estate law is a plus.
• 3-10 years of relevant experience, with a mix of litigation and non-litigation work in the real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of real estate laws, contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in handling RERA-related matters and other real estate regulatory compliance.
• Exposure to arbitration and alternate dispute resolution methods.
• Familiarity with corporate legal practices and governance related to real estate businesses.
