Job Description

As the Sales and Marketing Manager for our outsourced electronic product development company, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, expanding market reach, and establishing our brand as a leader in the electronic product development industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to attract new clients, nurture existing relationships, and achieve revenue targets. This position requires a blend of sales expertise, marketing savvy, and a deep understanding of the electronics industry.

Will be responsible for:

Sales:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth for our outsourced electronic product development services.
  • Find sales opportunities and initiate first contact with leads through calls, emails, or other outreach methods.
  • Identifying and qualifying potential customers or leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and inbound inquiries.
  • Identify and target prospective clients, including electronics manufacturers, startups, and technology companies, through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target client organizations, understanding their needs and positioning our services as the solution.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized proposals, presentations, and solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of prospective clients.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Marketing:
  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to raise awareness of our brand, differentiate our offerings, and position us as a thought leader in electronic product development.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, case studies, whitepapers, and website content, to effectively communicate our value proposition and showcase our expertise.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, email campaigns, social media engagement, and online advertising, to drive inbound leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns and events, such as industry conferences, trade shows, and webinars, to engage with prospective clients and generate qualified leads.
  • Leverage market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for innovation, informing product development and marketing strategies.
  • Measure and analyze marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, lead conversion rates, and ROI, to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize future campaigns.
Requirements and skills needed in the job:
  • 7+ years of Sales and Marketing experience, with at least 2 years in outsourced electronics product development.
  • Experience in US and European markets preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles within the electronics industry, with a focus on outsourced product development services.
  • Strong sales acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to develop and execute data-driven sales and marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a demonstrated ability to develop compelling marketing content and campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, email marketing software, social media management tools, and web analytics.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales target and marketing objectives.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in sales and marketing activities.
Should have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • The German Language is preferred.
