Lead I - Python Developer

Role Proficiency:

Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others developmental activities

Key Responsibilities:

• API Development: - Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance APIs. - Integrate APIs with large language models and other AI services.
• Write APIs as AWS Lambda functions or Azure Function Apps.
• Ensure security and accessibility in the API design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Code Quality and Best Practices: - Define, document, and enforce best coding practices and standards.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Mentorship: - Assist junior developers in their professional growth. - Provide guidance, support, and knowledge transfer to team members
• DevOps and Continuous Integration: - Manage and enhance our DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless deployment, specifically on Azure or AWS.
• Write and maintain unit test cases and support integration testing to ensure code reliability.
• AI and Data Engineering
• Apply knowledge in AI and data engineering to optimize application performance.
• Utilize data engineering principles to support machine learning models and data pipelines.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement: - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Python, AI, and data engineering.
• Experiment with and incorporate new tools and frameworks to enhance development processes.
• Qualifications: - Education: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: -
• 8+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing high-performance APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with writing APIs as AWS Lambda functions or Azure Function Apps.
• Experience with integrating large language models (e.g., GPT-3, BERT) is a plus.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Technical Skills: -

• Proficient in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• Experience with deployment and management on Azure or AWS. - Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., ETL processes, Apache Spark).
• Strong skills in writing unit test cases and supporting integration testing.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and libraries.
