Developer III - Software Engineering

Should be expert of anyone of these Postgres/Oracle/DB2 database system. Create the objects in the database, such as triggers, indexes, etc. Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance. Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early. Create regular backups and recovery plans as per best industry practices. Should have knowledge of Backup, Performance Tuning, Data Modelling, Analytics Knowledge of Disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore Designing and implementing extraction, transformation, and loading data pipelines Working closely with data analysts on the ETL process Responsibilities & Skills Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator. Proficiency in MSSQL, CosmosDB, and PostgreSQL. Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Monitor database performance and implement changes to optimize performance. Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems. Perform regular database backups and recovery operations. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. Document database configurations, processes, and procedures Knowledge of automation tools for database management and monitoring. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for database automation tasks. Experience in DevOps environments and integrating databases into CI/CD pipelines. AWS Migration from one Region to Another Region Experience with external tools for data migration.
