Job Description

Under the supervision of a Senior Lead analyze and develop applications in assigned area of responsibility on ERP/CRM systems and design solutions.

Outcomes:

  1. Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
  2. Learn technology business/system domain and as recommended by the project/account
  3. Contribute to ERP/CRM Practice related activities like (but not limited to) assembling content for case studies contributing to reusability coordinating internal seminars and conduct knowledge sharing sessions organizing sessions during and participating in hackathons etc.
  4. Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
  5. Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
  6. Independently analyze design develop and test functionalities
  7. Develop technical documents such as Functional Design Specifications Deployment documentation
  8. Perform design document reviews peer code reviews and suggest code improvements
  9. A single point of contact for the build and deployment issues and resolving on time
  10. Responsible for code/configuration changes to production environment to resolve any issues post production move
  11. Independently manage client environments/perform installation related activities
  12. Perform root cause analysis technical troubleshooting architecture resolve performance issues
  13. Mentor juniors for client discussions and day to day activities and basic administrative tasks
  14. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
  15. Influence and improve customer satisfaction through things like (but not limited to) offering suggestions for code refactoring and for small improvements in business processes. complete sprint deliverables ahead of schedule; helping client architects and product owners by way of design suggestions and/or explaining functionality to business stakeholders etc
  16. Self-learning and implement new features released in ERP/CRM wherever possible.
  17. Set goals in NorthStar and timely measure the progress and update accordingly.

  1. Number of applicable technical/domain certifications completed
  2. Adherence to process and standards (coding standards)
  3. Number of mandatory training (Industry/Technology specific trainings UST mandatory trainings) completed
  4. Quick turnaround of production bugs
  5. Adherence to schedule / timelines
  6. Number of mid-size requirements solutioned and implemented
  7. Number of issues resolved
  8. Number of innovative industry/technology specific ideas submitted
  9. Number of positive feedback received from client (client appreciation emails)
  10. Number of suggestions/implementation of new features/standards/framework for client.

Requirement:

  1. Understand the requirements/user stories


Estimate:

  1. Estimate time
    effort
    resource dependence for ones own work and for others work
    including for modules. Follow scrum ceremonies.
  2. Participate in preparing RFPs and estimations in ERP/CRM Practice


Design:

  1. Understand the design/LLD and link it to requirements/user stories


Configuration and Coding:

  1. Adhere to coding standards and follow ERP/CRM best practices. Develop code independently.
  2. Review code done by peer and team.


Test:

  1. Create and conduct unit testing.
  2. Test class coverage above 95%.


Manage Defects:

  1. Perform defect RCA and mitigation
  2. Identify defect trends and take proactive measures to improve quality


Client Interaction:

  1. Effectively interact with customers and articulate their inputs


Manage Project:

  1. Manage delivery of modules and/or manage user stories


Documentation:

  1. Create/review templates
    checklists
    guidelines
    standards for design/process/development
  2. Create/review deliverable documents. Design documentation
    requirements
    t test cases and results
  3. Document one s own work


Status Reporting:

  1. Report status of tasks assigned

    3. Experience with production deployment and solving deployment errors.
    4. Knowledge of Agile Methods - Scrum and Kanban
    5. Knowledge in integrating ERP/CRM with external systems using SOAP API REST API etc.

    Overall Experience SFDC Senior System Analyst/Senior Developer: 8-9 years IT industry total experience, with 5-6 years specifically in Salesforce. com development, and implementation, administration, and configuration. The Salesforce development (coding) experience as stated above must be in Apex and Visualforce and Lightning/LWC, and any affiliated coding technologies required for Salesforce like Java-script frameworks. Prior SFDC Health Cloud and Provider Network Management module experience is desirable, but not mandatory. Any prior experience with other technologies like Java/. Net is highly preferred. Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Apex/Visualforce and Lightning coding, and in Salesforce administration, configuration and customization, including reports and dashboards. Excellent communication and be able to coordinate with and get Knowledge Transition from Onsite (USA-based) salesforce development teams and interact with IT/Business stakeholders there. Good to have experience in different Salesforce clouds/offerings: Sales, Service, Community. Other cloud/offerings like Marketing/Pardot, Einstein AI, Analytics, FSL etc are a plus. Salesforce. com Certifications Must Have: Developer Certification (Platform Dev 1) and AppBuilder Certification Desirable: Advanced Developer Certification (DEV 501 or Platform Dev 2) completed in full (all 3 parts) Good to Have: Advanced Admin (ADM301) or Consultant (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud) Certifications Force. com Platform Development Skills Needed Must Have: Experience of atleast 4 Actual Projects in Salesforce. com LIGHTNING version, including working on Aura framework and/or LWC, and creating Lightning components Candidate should have Strong Experience with Lightning, LWC, Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, Visual Studio, , Data Loader, SFDX, Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Java-script. Hands-on experience on Sales, Service, Community Clouds. Strong Problem-solving skills, with ability to get multiple solutions for/approaches to solve a problem/scenario Thorough knowledge of APEX coding best practices, and understanding the limitations of Apex coding Integrate with Force. com Web services including SOAP, WSDL, REST, SSL standards, security models and typical API client architecture. Plus experience in working with Platform Events, Force. com Bulk API and the Metadata API Implementation knowledge of Flow, App Builder, Process Builder, validation rule, approval process, reports and dashboards Experience using Apex Data Loader (or other ETL tools like Informatica or Boomi or Cast Iron or Mulesoft) Experience with database development, SQL or PL/SQL, database schemas, stored procedures is is a plus. Follow unit testing and test class best practices, and be capable of coding for positive/negative scenarios Must have experience with production deployment using CI/CD tools like GitHub, Gitlab, Bamboo, Copado etc, change-set/eclipse/ANT migration tool, and working on solving deployment errors. Knowledge on HTML/HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, Web-services, Google APIs, JQuery/any other java-script framework. Object oriented programming experience in J2EE/. Net platforms. Candidate should have very good understanding of Salesforce Admin activities like - user creation, role/profile set up, Security set up etc Strong hands-on experience with administration, configuration, customization, and development within Salesforce. com, and also in reports and dashboards Customize and configure SFDC objects, data fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, document templates, reports and dashboards Good to have - Experience in Salesforce mobile using Salesforce1/vfmobile, Heroku, Radian6, Einstein Should attend offshore, onsite and client meetings as per the requirements. Should practice and exhibit UST s core values at work: humility, humanity, and integrity. Should be flexible to work during overlap hours up to 11:00 PM IST based on business requirements.
