Java/Angular Fullstack Developer (2-5 Years Experience)

Role Profile:

The team works closely with both the business and development departments to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions for the firms internal and external clients. This role involves enhancing existing systems and creating new tools and applications to streamline business processes, helping the firm expand into new areas. As a Java/Angular Fullstack Developer, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the business and wider development team to design, develop, and implement new tools and applications.
• Contribute to larger, multi-disciplinary projects across a global team.
• Support different phases of the product lifecycle, from analysis and design through to development and testing.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency and enthusiasm, comprehending the full stack and engineering both new and existing components.
• Work within an agile team environment, delivering iterative results and improving functionality.
• Gain exposure to equity derivative products and algorithmic indices while contributing to the development process.

Desired Skills:

• Core Java Expertise: Strong server-side Java development experience is essential, with an understanding of object-oriented principles.
• Scala (Desirable but not Essential): Knowledge of Scala is a plus but not a requirement.
• Agile TDD: Experience working in an agile environment, with an understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and iterative development practices.
• Business Collaboration: Experience working closely with business users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Meeting Deadlines: Demonstrable ability to manage deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality results.
• Equity Derivatives Knowledge (Desirable): Exposure to equity derivatives products is advantageous but not a requirement.
