As a product designer at Pictory, you ll shape the user experience and visual design of the platform. This includes:
- Designing user interfaces for new features in the video creation platform.
- Developing design systems and component libraries for consistency.
- Collaborating with engineers to integrate features.
- Researching AI capabilities of various providers and creating prototypes of AI features.
- Conducting UX research to understand user needs.
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are implementable and meet business goals.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 6-10 years of experience, with a strong startup background.
- A balanced skill set in visual design, systems design, competitive analysis, and UX research.
- Proficiency in Figma, including creating flexible components with autolayout, and experience with design systems like ShadCn or UntitledUI.
- The ability to work closely with engineers, with a good understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Self-motivation, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Preferably, a university degree in design, though not mandatory.
