Content Writer

Role Description:

This is a full-time role based in Bengaluru. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing compelling content. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to develop and implement content strategies, perform research, write, proofread, and edit content for multiple channels, including websites, blogs, social media, and more. Additionally, collaborating with team members across the company to create and improve sales and marketing materials, customer presentations, and training documents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a content marketing strategy aligned with the broader digital marketing goals.
• Conduct competitor analysis and keyword research to identify content opportunities.
• Create and optimize on-site content, including titles, keywords, meta descriptions, and on-page copy.
• Regularly update blogs with engaging and SEO-friendly content.
• Produce external content like press releases, articles, linkedin articles etc.
• Manage end-to-end SEO submissions and ensure best practices are followed.
• Write and maintain unique content for company web properties, newsletters, and technical documents.
• Maintain company web pages, blogs, and other digital assets with regular updates.
• Contribute to and update the company's social media platforms.
• Document processes to streamline web content management and moderate external contributions.
• Stay updated on web writing best practices, social media trends, and industry developments.
• Coordinate and publish internal or external company newsletters.
• Prepare communications like announcements, press releases, tutorials, and case studies.
• Manage and oversee the content creator team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and monitoring performance.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in content creation and strategy development for the B2B tech domain.
• Proficiency in SEO principles, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
• Familiarity with managing web pages and social media platforms.
• Ability to conduct competitor analysis and use insights to improve content strategies.
• Technical aptitude to collaborate effectively with design and development team.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of basic digital marketing concepts and strategies.
• Proficiency in tools for keyword research, such as SEMrush or Ahrefs.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics for assessing content performance.
• Experience in the B2B tech domain is highly advantageous.
