Sales Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in sales, specifically in electrical products distribution, and will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of electrical products to industrial clients, distributors, and contractors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on building relationships, driving sales growth, and providing technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Development & Relationship Management:
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share for electrical products in the assigned regions (Coimbatore & Hosur).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities by prospecting and targeting potential customers.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

• Product Knowledge & Technical Support:
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers, helping them choose the right electrical products for their needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers and partners.
• Assist customers with product installations, troubleshooting, and post-sales support.

• Sales Performance & Reporting:
• Achieve sales targets and goals, tracking progress and performance.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and market conditions for management.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiations to closing deals.

• Collaboration & Teamwork:
• Work closely with the technical and product teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved efficiently.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Coordinate with the logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

• Customer Feedback & Market Insights:
• Gather and report customer feedback on product quality, performance, and any potential improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product developments, and regulatory changes in the electrical product market.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in any field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, specifically in the electrical products distribution industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical products and their applications.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and distributors.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned regions (Coimbatore & Hosur).

Desired Skills (Optional):

• Previous experience in B2B sales or technical sales in the electrical industry.
• Familiarity with electrical standards, regulations, and industry trends.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
