Job Title: PDE II Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a PDE II – Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java development, MongoDB, and system design. The ideal candidate will have experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems, designing efficient database schemas, and implementing robust microservices architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend applications using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices).
• Design, develop, and optimize MongoDB schemas and queries for high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, resilient, and maintainable system architectures.
• Implement API development and integration using RESTful and GraphQL services.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services to ensure high availability and low latency.
• Work with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest backend development trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 8+ preferred).
• Strong understanding of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience in designing scalable and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems is an advantage.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and performance testing.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and event-driven programming.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
