Role & responsibilities

• Informs the nurses about new drugs
• Requests the consultants to prescribe medicines nearing expiry in order to reduce this inventory. Follows Short Expiry Medication Procedure for the same.
• Sends notification about non availability of medicines, to be purchased locally or externally.
• Maintains the inventory of the medicines under proper temperature as may be required.

Follows fire safety protocols by storing inflammable medicines near fire extinguishers.

• Arranges the indents according to the priority and urgency of the indent.
• Checks on the HIS the prescription.
• Asks the GDA to fetch the medicines required.

Checks the medicines for expiry

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate must have 1 to 4 Yrs of relevant hospital pharmacy experienced.

Candidate must be Delhi Registered Only
