WordPress Developer (Full-Time, Onsite)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin development, website optimization, and security enhancements. This role requires expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and front-end technologies, along with a keen eye for design, performance optimization, and user experience.

The candidate should be comfortable working with custom themes and plugins, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing best practices for website scalability and security. The ability to collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to create engaging and high-performance websites is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to business and client needs.
• Build and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security to ensure the best user experience.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility for all projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and web services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and marketing teams to enhance website engagement.
• Manage website hosting, backups, migrations, and updates efficiently.
• Implement SEO best practices for higher search engine rankings.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.

Eligibility Criteria

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean).
• Experience in WooCommerce customization and payment gateway integration.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines for WordPress deployment.
• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React for interactive UI elements.
