Shift InCharge

1. Production Oversight:

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day production activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure production targets are met by coordinating with team members and optimizing production workflows.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the production line, minimizing downtime and delays.

2. Team Management:

• Lead and supervise production staff, ensuring optimal performance, discipline, and team coordination.
• Conduct shift handovers, ensuring all necessary information is communicated to the next shift.
• Train and guide team members in operating machinery, adhering to company policies, and achieving production goals.
• Monitor workforce attendance and performance, reporting to HR or relevant departments as needed.

3. Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Work with the Production Manager to plan and execute production schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and material availability for each shift.
• Adjust production schedules as required to address unforeseen delays or machine breakdowns.
• Ensure the production line operates efficiently and that any delays or disruptions are promptly addressed.

4. ERP FINSYS Management:

• Utilize ERP FINSYS to track production data, inventory, and resource usage in real-time.
• Monitor and update production orders, work orders, and inventory levels through the ERP system.
• Generate and review production reports using ERP FINSYS to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, efficiency, and material consumption.
• Ensure accurate data entry into ERP FINSYS, maintaining proper records of production outputs, machine performance, and materials used.
• Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams via ERP FINSYS to ensure the timely availability of materials.

5. Quality Control:

• Ensure the quality standards for the finished products are met according to specifications.
• Conduct periodic checks and inspections on the production line to ensure the consistency and quality of production.
• Address any quality issues immediately, working with the quality control team to resolve discrepancies.
• Document quality control data and report any anomalies or product defects.

6. Machine and Equipment Management:

• Monitor the performance of machines and equipment during the shift to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency.
• Ensure proper maintenance and preventive care are carried out, as per the schedules.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team promptly and ensure repairs are conducted without causing significant delays.

7. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure production activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain production logs, records, and documentation as required by company policies and industry regulations.
• Ensure all documents and data in ERP FINSYS are accurate and up-to-date for reporting and auditing purposes.

8. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement in the production process and propose corrective actions or process enhancements.
• Monitor production trends and suggest improvements to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase production output.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
