CNG BUS Maintenance Supervisor -SITE

Role & responsibilities

• Conducting regular maintenance and repair of vehicles brought into the workshop.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment. Performing Instructions routine inspections to identify any potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of spare parts and supplies necessary for repairs. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in all workshop activities.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior staff members when required. FUNCTIONAL SKILLS Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems. Understanding of automotive service manuals and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic codes and troubleshoot complex issues. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in an automotive workshop.

Preferred candidate profile

1.Supervise repair and maintenance of CNG Bus and Ambulance. A deep understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems, is crucial for diagnosing problems and making informed decisions.

2. Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of automotive technicians, mechanics, and support staff. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

3. Workflow Planning: Plan and organize the daily workflow in the workshop to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

4. Parts and Inventory Management: Skills in managing parts inventory, tools, ordering supplies, and ensuring that the workshop has the necessary components to complete repairs efficiently.

5. Budget Management: Develop and manage the workshop budget, including tracking expenses, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation.

6. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the workshop's efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

7. Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, service histories, and customer information. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

8. Electrical and Electronic Systems: Competence in diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic issues in vehicles, including wiring, sensors, and control modules. Assets Requirement (if any) Laptop Comments/Instructions --

• Additional to your Salary you will be eligible to get 65,000 Naira per month for local personal expenses over and above the salary. (This is same across the level / designation/ role)

• Laptop, Mobile Handset, Sim and monthly free top-ups (as per grade) and other Facilities.
• Time off Rotation will be 6 Month working and 30 Days paid off & subsequently followed by every 6-month ones (Both to and fro International & Domestic travel tickets provided by company).
• Workdays & Hours Corporate Office: Six and Half day in a week (Monday to Saturday – 8:30AM to 6:30PM & Sunday - 9:00AM to 2:30PM) & Onsite location: Seven Days Working (Monday to Sunday – 8:30AM to 6:30PM).
