Senior Testing Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile Test Engineer to take ownership of our quality assurance initiatives. As dedicated testing professional, you will establish testing frameworks and processes while executing both functional and non-functional testing across our product portfolio. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact on our product quality and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications
• Execute manual functional testing across user interfaces, APIs and backend systems
• Establish automated testing frameworks and create automated test scripts where appropriate
• Perform non-functional testing including performance, security and usability
• Identify, document and track bugs using issue tracking systems
• Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
• Help establish QA best practices and testing standards for the organization
• Review requirements and technical specifications to provide testing insights
• Create and maintain testing documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Experience in testing web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with at least one testing framework (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Jest, PyTest)
• Basic understanding of API testing concepts
• Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools
• Ability to write clear bug reports and testing documentation
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PHP/Laravel, Node.js or Python applications
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with security testing concepts
• Experience in an agile development environment
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing
