DevOps Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for DevOps Engineers to design high-end applications for our clients. You will be determining the scope of software development projects, collaborating on the development of software applications, and obtaining and integrating end-user feedback.

What You'll Do:

• 6+ years of experience on DevOps. Should be strong in DevOps/DevSecOps and able to design the CI CD pipeline from scratch.
• Familiar with DevOps and able to enhance the current CD through coding/scripting as necessary
• Good to have DBA experience, mainly the Database Querying and Performance Optimization knowledge (MySQL).
• RDS Database backup and recovery.
• Ability to create infrastructure, set up the CI/CD process. Converting manual steps to automation. GitOps, SlackOps, ARGOCD
• Should be able to manage EC2 roles and permissions effectively
• Ability to manage K8S cluster, pods.
• Ability to monitor Using New Relic, manage the AWS instances in all environments, operations in AWS
• Good knowledge on SNS, SQS, SES.
• Should be able to use cloud formation or terraform to automate the things.
• Good understanding on Continuous integration and deployment. Good Knowledge on Docker, docker Images
• Good understanding of AWS security HUB issues and how to fix them.
• Good understanding on Lambda and scripts. Good understanding on bash or python scripting
• Good to have Ruby/Rails knowledge for overall understanding (Optional)
• Overall, the candidate should be an excellent DevOps Engineer with very good experience in setting up the CI/CD Pipeline, good database knowledge and ability to learn Node.js or any skill needed for successful deployment to AWS infrastructure.

Expertise Youll Bring:

• Good knowledge on Amazon (AWS, S3, Lambda, ECR, Backup, CloudWatch, SES, IAM, ELB, VPC components, WAF, CloudTrail Snapshots, Security) Server scripts, Unix / Linux - server and database (MySQL).
• Should have ability to migrate the existing DB infrastructure to AWS RDS if needed. Should be able to manage the AWS Environment
• Good understanding on Microservices running on AWS, Ability to deploy the microservices on AWS EKS Fargate.
• Good to have Node.js Development experience (or ability to learn Node.js in short period) and Ability to deploy microservices written in Node.js (Optional)
