Job Description
This is a full-time internship role for an Android Developer (Java Kotlin). As an Android Developer, you ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge mobile app development, working on our hyperlocal e-commerce platform while collaborating with different teams, and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Location: On-site (Gwalior)
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Android Development using Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with working on Firebase is a must.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Git, and other development tools.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into mobile applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with modern Android libraries and frameworks (e.g., Jetpack, Dagger, Retrofit).
- Understanding of design patterns like MVC, MVP, or MVVM.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and Material Design guidelines.
- Previous experience with mobile app development projects (personal or academic).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and develop high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Work closely with the design team to implement engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the application runs smoothly on various devices.
- Assist in the implementation of new features and functionalities to improve the user experience.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Document code and development processes to ensure clarity and facilitate future development.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and product managers, to deliver seamless integration and functionality.
