Job Description

This position requires a high level of independence, business acumen, strong client service and skills. Organizational ability is important to keep track of all tasks.  Accurate and timely monitoring of client work, service calls, and related documentation is desired. A team player that can work with the internal service department to ensure a high level of client retention is met while any client procurement is funneled appropriately to the sales team.

The Account Manager meets with Technical Managers regularly to ensure the client is being serviced appropriately from the sales side of the business.  


Business Development Manager Attributes and Characteristics

  • Knowledge of our technology stack that is available to the client
  • Ability to effectively communicate with client business owners and stakeholders while maintaining a deep understanding of their business needs and IT environment to translate those insights into tailored service and product requirements.
  • Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading client strategies and develop strategies to support these trends
  • Collaborate with the appropriate departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports client needs
  • Craft an effective client touch plan and communication plan
  • Any procurement or sales request they receive from the client, the opportunity is created inside our PSA and assigned to the sales department
  • Service issues they advocate for the client and communicate internally with service team to address the issue and determine how to prevent that issue from occurring in the future through problem management. 
  • Managing and refining the onboarding journey for new clients. Oversee the full onboarding experience with a focus on client satisfaction and creating the critical foundations for lasting trust.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Client Retention and Client Satisfaction & Relationship management.
  • Prepare & Conduct QBRs / MBRs, when needed.
  • General client engagement
  • IT Infrastructure roadmap/budget attainment
  • Service expansion/renewal

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Drive to keep up on current and future technologies on a broad level
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Enjoys sharing information, supporting others, and working on a team to achieve team goals 
  • High level of organization, effective communication, and problem-solving ability.
