Calibration Engineer

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented Calibration Engineers to join our Calibration Department at Perfect Utilities. As a Calibration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of our calibration processes and equipment. You will be responsible for executing calibration activities, conducting maintenance, and upholding the highest quality standards in collaboration with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Calibration Execution:
   -Execute on-site and off-site calibration services for a diverse range of measurement and testing equipment following established procedures and industry standards.
   -Ensure strict adherence to accuracy and documentation requirements during calibration processes.
2. Quality Assurance:
   -Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to calibration procedures and equipment.
   -Ensure all calibration activities comply with established quality control measures and compliance guidelines.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
   -Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of calibration equipment to guarantee consistent accuracy and reliability.
   -Manage equipment inventory, tracking, and maintenance schedules to prevent disruptions in the calibration process.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
   -Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calibration activities, including schedules, reports, certificates, and traceability documentation.
   -Contribute to the preparation and presentation of regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
5. Collaboration:
   -Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Quality Control, Production, and Engineering to address calibration-related requirements and concerns.
   -Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes and overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience of 2 or more years in calibration processes, demonstrating successful execution and adherence to quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of calibration techniques, standards, and equipment across various measurement disciplines.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using calibration software, data management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
