SCM Head

A Supply Chain Manager (SCM) Head is responsible for the overall management of a company's supply chain, from sourcing to distribution. Some of their responsibilities include:
Developing strategy: Create a supply chain strategy that maximizes customer satisfaction while minimizing costs
Managing inventory: Monitor and adjust inventory levels to ensure rotation and maximize working capital
Collaborating with departments: Work with sales, procurement, plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to ensure efficient operations
Negotiating contracts: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers
Managing costs: Manage costs while maintaining quality
Identifying risks: Identify and manage risks that could affect the supply chain
Improving performance: Improve supply chain performance and look for ways to innovate
Training employees: Train and mentor employees, including reinforcing safety guidelines
Reporting accidents: Report accidents and injuries and ensure proper treatment protocols are met
Providing guidance: Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
