Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer located in Chennai. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure the reliability and performance of the applications.

The role also involves code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of software development processes.

Qualifications :

Position Overview :

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will enhance the CPQ or Pricepoint platform by delivering new features, maintaining existing functionality, and extending automated testing capabilities.

The role requires working efficiently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement new product features to enhance platform functionality.

- Refactor and improve existing platform code for optimal performance.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of automated unit tests to ensure code quality.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain high-quality deliverables.

- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior software engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience with Microsoft .Net technologies (ASP.NET, C#).

- Proven experience with MS SQL Server.

- Strong background in unit test development and automation.

- Understanding of iterative development methodologies.

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

- Customer-focused approach with a willingness to adapt and learn new technologies.

Preferred Skills and Education :

- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, and IIS.

- Experience in front-end technologies, specifically React and JavaScript, or a strong willingness to learn.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Professional certifications in Microsoft technologies are advantageous.

Experience : A minimum of 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience is required.
