Requirements
About the role
The Project Associate plays a critical role in Peepuls partnership with the Government of Madhya Pradesh to achieve quality education for all and improve the public school system in India. As an excellent team player, the Project Associate, will independently lead and drive the design and delivery of interventions to support and hold teachers and academic officials accountable. They will be responsible for visiting schools for observation and in-depth support to school leaders/ teachers for professional development, changing character of classrooms, implementing best practices, coordinating and preparing the schools for visits and building relationships with mid-level government stakeholders.
Responsibilities would include (including but not limited to):

Lead and drive the programmatic activities in the allotted schools in close collaboration with the school teachers and HMs.

Conduct school visits and observe classrooms to support the teachers in implementing effective assessment-based instruction.

Support the professional development of teachers by sharing best practices and providing feedback.

Collaborate with school leaders to develop plans for improving academic performance and conducting school level meetings.

Build relationships with government stakeholders, to drive implementation of the program.

Develop and maintain accurate records and reports on the progress of schools and teachers.

Assist the Project Manager in capacity-building interventions of various stakeholders.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in education sector.

Define success metrics and communicate them effectively.

Work with the M&E team and external experts to develop appropriate project evaluation tools, including academic assessment. Utilise learnings from Peepuls other programs to improve implementation.
