The Strategy Consultant will drive strategic and executive support and development for our Madhya Pradesh programmes. This role will serve as a primary point of contact for senior leadership, employing outstanding communication skills, an acute understanding of programme needs and preferences, and impeccable judgment. Additionally, this role will act as a key liaison to the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership, orchestrating executive outreach and external relations initiatives while overseeing special projects.
Responsibilities would include (including but not limited to):
Strategic Portfolio Support:
- Provide strategic support in aligning organizational objectives with overarching goals.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, investors, and board members.
- Take a lead role in hiring for critical positions within the program.
- Support the team with problem-solving efforts in the Senior Leaderships absence, addressing critical challenges and driving solutions across various projects.
Project Management and Analysis:
- Track megatrends and policy developments, conduct landscape analysis, and monitor ongoing and potential changes in key geographies.
- Perform scenario modeling and due diligence on prospective projects, clients, donors, and partners to mitigate risks and identify favorable opportunities.
- Conduct detailed assessments of project portfolios to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and optimization. - Devise and document strategic roadmaps, learnings, and insights from project activities, ensuring their applicability both internally and externally.
- Cultivate and maintain multiple client and stakeholder relationships, networking within client organizations to understand needs and influence agendas.
- Leverage industry knowledge and domain expertise to shape client thinking and align their strategic direction. Thought Partnership:
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property within the practice area and serve as a strong thought partner to the Senior Leadership.
- Support the ideation and execution of new initiatives within project portfolios through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Provide regular updates to management on progress, insights, opportunities, and areas for course correction.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to drive project innovation and success.

- Education : Graduation from a top-tier institution with strong academic background. A masters degree or equivalent in relevant fields, including management, economics, social sciences, and public policy is highly preferred.
- Work Experience : 3-5 years of experience in management consulting and strategy/ project management roles, and preferred experience with the social impact sector. Additionally, experience working with government entities and familiarity with the Indian education system are highly desirable.
