Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Analyst to join our quality assurance team. As a QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. Your expertise in both automation and manual testing will be essential for maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test scenarios.
- Develop and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestNG.
- Conduct regression testing to identify defects and ensure backward compatibility.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and edge cases.
- Document test results, defects, and test coverage.
- Participate in test planning, test design, and test strategy discussions.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with product owners to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-6 years of experience as a Software Quality Analyst, with a focus on both automation and manual testing.
- Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, BDD).
- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-Have :
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
- Exposure to performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Understanding of security testing principles.
- Passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
