Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role In this role you will contribute to product roadmap, product design development of the platform. Your primary responsibility will be to lead development team, planning, design, architecture, people management adoption of Generative AI solutions that focus on technology improvements such as Technology Assistants Data Management Efficiencies.

You will be building advanced Generative AI Solutions that are designed to create real-world impact by automating, optimizing, and simplifying processes for developers and organizations alike. By embedding intelligence into the development cycle, we enable PayPal teams to move faster, work smarter, and achieve more.
Job Description:

- Define the plan/work allocation to various developers.
- Lead end to end development of the product/solutions with result-oriented product mindset.
- Mentor, Coach Manage the developers
Your day-to-day
In your day-to-day role you will
- Conduct periodic check- ins and provide constructive feedback while setting high bar for speed and quality of deliverables.
- Design and develop Engineering Solutions generative AI Applications for above ensuring scalability, efficiency, and maintainability of such solutions.
- Assist for Product Roadmap creation define product requirements.
- Assist for adoption and promotion of the platform such as conducting open office hours, white-gloving team(s)onboarding etc
- Write clean, high-performance, high-quality, maintainable code.
- Implement prompt engineering techniques to fine-tune and enhance LLMs for better performance and application-specific needs.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of Generative AI Application Development and actively contribute to the research and development of new Generative AI Applications.
What do you need to bring
- A M asters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience working for a startup or Product leading development and adoption of the product or a platform.
- Minimum 10 years experience with 3+ in hands-on leading roles.
- Minimum 2- 3 years people management experience with at least 10 resources directly supervised.
- Str ong communication , p lanning cross-functional management.
- Strong p ro ficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, ML P la torms , L LMs, Machine Learning e tc
- Experience in development of technical products or platforms for large enterprises.
- Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git), code reviews, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs) prompt engineering techniques, vector DBs (Nice to have) .
- Str ong communication sk ills to effectively collaborate and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to adapt and learn n ew technologies an d frameworks quickly .
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and research.
