Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role

As a Quality Engineer, you will champion the assessment of product deliverables for the PayPal Consumer iOS, Android, and Web Applications. Ensuring proper test strategy, planning & flawless execution will mitigate risks for experiences that will engage and benefit our valued customers.

In this role, you will have a customer-focused opportunity to set a high bar on expectations throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Vetting requirements against usability will help shape the delivered product. Diligent and detailed use case reviews will help guarantee minimal gaps and maximum coverage. Investing and prioritizing automation of critical flows will pave a path towards a successful and efficient continuous integration pipeline, adding quality checkpoints from start to finish.

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role you will XXX

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify testing requirements for new features and provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Own the creation of detailed and thoughtful test plans and test cases
Promote and encourage a culture of quality throughout the organization
Collaborate in the release process by providing thoughtful test results with high confidence
Contribute to a regression automation suite to reduce manual efforts

What do you need to bring

4+ years of quality assessment and automation experience
Strong problem-solving ability with a passion for debugging complex issues
Proficiency in writing and maintaining test plans and test cases
Good experience writing web Cypress, mobile XCUITest, or mobile Espresso tests
Experience with a version control system (GIT, SVN, or similar)
