Lifecycle Marketing Senior Analyst

We are a team of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and client-focused members who support Global SMB marketing team. The team is part of the Global Marketing Analytics team where we build data driven solutions and insight to implement of marketing strategies.

• You will have exposure and visibility to PayPal Sales, Product, Finance & Market Insights teams, as you work with them to create a holistic solution to Marketing problems
• You will directly work with marketing stakeholders to identify root cause of a business problem, establish cause & effect, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data driven decision-making
• You will help generate insights by mining PayPal s rich data. In the process, you will develop a deep understanding of the Payments businesses, our products offering, further strengthen their analytic, and presentation skills, and gain exposure to a wide variety of functional teams within PayPal

• Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze performance and provide actionable insights
• Extract insight from data, identify relevant trends and provides well-developed proactive recommendations to enhance and exceed our marketing goals and objectives
• Participate and collaborate with cross functional teams in the organization to understand the business requirements and to deliver analytical solutions that can scale
• Supervise the development of statistically correct test designs to ensure that the output is correct and delivers the insights that are needed
• Build ML models or implement already built models in marketing campaigns
• Perform deep dive analyses on key business trends from different perspectives and package the insights into easily consumable presentations and documents
• Provide thought leadership and end to end ownership of projects
• Proactive and strong problem-solving skills as this is an individual contributor role
• Continuously think how to improve the analytics infrastructure for the team and automate processes

• 4 to 5 years analytics experience analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable solutions
• Bachelors/MS/PhD Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics
• Excellent knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of either Python or R
• Experience in Advanced Analytics: Causal Inference, Decision Trees, Clustering, descriptive and prescriptive analysis and ML models
• Excellent knowledge in Statistics, Experimentation, Test Design Setup, Measurement and A/B Testing
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with strong ability to drive towards action and impact
• Experience in managing analytics projects from inception to delivery, including developing structured solutions
• Experience with visualizations, Tableau , Looker dashboards, and reports
• Experience with data modelling, machine learning algorithms, and data science techniques is a plus
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Background in marketing is a plus
