Quality engineer, handling inprocess quality and finished good quality, must have experience of machine shop quality(CNC & VMC), knowledge of GDNT, KAIZEN, POKA-YOKE is required, Knowledge of all measuring instruments- vernier calliper, micrometer, depth guage, height guage, screw guage is required.
Responsibilities: In-Process Quality Control:
Monitor and inspect raw materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards. Conduct regular quality checks during the manufacturing process, including CNC and VMC operations. Implement and maintain quality control plans and procedures. Identify and address quality issues promptly. Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor process capability and identify trends. Finished Goods Quality Control:
Inspect finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Conduct final quality inspections and tests. Prepare quality reports and documentation. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Quality Improvement:
Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen, to enhance quality and efficiency. Utilize Poka-Yoke techniques to prevent errors and defects. Analyze quality data to identify root causes of problems and implement corrective actions. Measuring Instrument Calibration:
Ensure the accuracy and calibration of measuring instruments, including vernier calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, and screw gauges. Develop and maintain calibration schedules. GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing):
Interpret and apply GD&T principles to ensure precise manufacturing and inspection. Collaborate with engineering to resolve GD&T-related issues.
