Technical Lead - DevOps

Role & responsibilities

• You will take leadership in building up the DevOps team in India, transforming it into a

high-performing unit

• that is an integral part of the global Digital/DevOps team (Spain, Brazil, US) , not merely

an extended

• workbench. Over time, this team can grow in size and competencies covering

additional parts of the global software lifecycle.

• You will act as an inspirational leader with a can-do attitude. You will drive the team to

achieve results while fostering a collaborative culture of innovation and excellence.

• You will effectively navigate the organization, leveraging your excellent stakeholder

management skills to ensure the teams goals are aligned with the company's broader

objectives.

• You will be implementing and managing CI/CD processes and automation tools,

ensuring reliable deployments aligned with best DevOps practices and tools (preferably

experience with Azure DevOps)

• You will support and develop digital solutions, including in the cloud platform, focusing

on IoT, cybersecurity, data engineering, or cloud computing.

• You will be leading the local team, providing global operational support for digital

solutions

• You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across various business units worldwide

to understand their digital needs and deliver tailored DevOps solutions.

• You will be responsible for budget, personnel, and delivery and ensure that the teams

output meets the companys standards and objectives.

• You will monitor, report, and optimize the performance of digital initiatives and the

operations of the capability center, providing regular insights and updates to senior

management.

Preferred candidate profile

• You have a university degree focusing on Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related

field.

• You have 10+ years of experience in software development & DevOps & 3+ years in

leadership.

• You possess strong technical and coding competencies with in-depth knowledge of

DevOps practices and 24/7 support requirements.

• You demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking, with the ability to align digital

strategies with the organization’s business objectives.

• You have a strong understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, big

data, and cybersecurity, and you stay updated with the latest trends and best practices

in these areas.

• You have experience in Web application development (preferably with .Net and Angular).

You have a good command of the following software development tools: Visual Studio,

SQL Server Management Studio, GIT, and PaaS Cloud Components.

• You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and you can

navigate and influence cross-functional teams within a multinational organization.

• You have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, which enable you to

identify and resolve operational issues, bottlenecks, and performance challenges while

driving continuous improvement.
