Senior Manager - Accounts

Role Overview:
The Senior GST Compliance Manager will oversee GST compliance and taxation processes across multiple locations, including filing, reconciliation, advisory, audits, and team management.

• Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 for multi-location entities/ ISD and sister concerns.
• Ensure timely GST payments and manage registrations and amendments.
• Reconcile purchase registers with GSTR-2A/2B/IMS and Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Track IGST on export sales and process manual refunds.
• Calculate GST liabilities, including SGST, CGST, and IGST based on transactions and sales.
• Provide advisory on GST implications for business operations and transactions.
• Conduct GST audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with statutory norms.
• Draft replies for departmental notices, appeals, and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and GST-related records.
• Prepare and submit schedules for GST annual returns and compliance reports.
• Assist Procurement and Sales teams with legal updates and compliance requirements.
• Train and mentor junior team members on GST processes and best practices.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues with GST departments efficiently.
• Experience:
• 3 to 7 years in GST filing, compliance, reconciliation, audits, and assessments.
• Preferred experience in the chemical industry.
• Education:
• Masters degree in Commerce (M. Com), Inter CA or equivalent qualifications.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of GST laws and procedures.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and tax software.
• Other Skills:
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
