- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Support network security by configuring firewalls, VPNs, and access control mechanisms.
- Work with senior engineers to implement upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide support for end-user connectivity issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining wireless networks and ensuring reliable access across all locations.
Requirements Job Requirements
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CompTIA Network+, or similar are preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network hardware and software, such as Cisco devices or equivalent.
- Basic experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting using tools like ping, traceroute, and packet capture tools.
Experience:
- 02 years of experience in networking or IT support roles.
- Internship or hands-on experience in a networking environment is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Other Requirements:
- Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance and upgrades.
