Job Description

This is a position for someone who has an entrepreneurial flair, collaboration spirit, mature attitude and creative zeal to outperform. As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our brand's views creatively.

The role reports into the Head - Brand & Digital and will be based out of Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contributes to the overall marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers

- Develops social media marketing plans for each category brands and directing promotional support.

- Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.

- Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals.

- Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI.

- Monitor SEO, web traffic metrics and keep a track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns.

- Collaborate with category teams, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency across.

- Ensure the brand communicates with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.

- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Key Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Social media manager, and digital marketing.

- Hands on experience in content management and a solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms.

- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.

- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) and up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.

- Understanding in Google Analytics and an ability to gather insights from the campaigns

- Analytical and multitasking skills with customer focus.

- MBA in Marketing or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field.
