AEM Administrator - CI/CD Pipeline (4-8 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced AEM Admin to manage and maintain our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an AEM Admin, with a strong focus on AEM operations, CI/CD pipeline management, and integrating AEM with DevOps tools. This role requires a candidate with a solid understanding of AEM administration, along with experience working in a DevOps environment.

You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting AEM infrastructure to ensure its reliability, availability, and performance, while working closely with development teams to enable continuous delivery and integration.

Key Responsibilities :

AEM Administration :

- Install, configure, and manage Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments (AEM 6.x and later).

- Oversee AEM server infrastructure, including AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM environments, performance, and stability.

- Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure a smooth operation.

CI/CD Pipeline Management :

- Develop, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines for AEM code deployment and release automation.

- Integrate AEM with DevOps tools for seamless deployment and continuous integration workflows.

- Ensure that deployment processes are streamlined and efficient, with minimal downtime or impact on business operations.

Collaboration with DevOps Teams :

- Work closely with DevOps engineers to establish and maintain automation pipelines for code builds and deployments.

- Implement automated infrastructure provisioning using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.

- Participate in scaling and load balancing for AEM servers and ensure effective disaster recovery solutions.

Performance and Security :

- Optimize AEM performance through tuning and resource management, ensuring that system resources are efficiently utilized.

- Apply security patches and monitor AEM for vulnerabilities and risks.

- Work with IT teams to implement secure access controls, backup, and recovery strategies for AEM data.

AEM Operations & Support :

- Monitor and manage the availability and health of AEM systems.

- Provide on-call support for AEM issues, resolving incidents and escalating when necessary.

- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize AEM-based web applications.

Documentation :

- Maintain detailed documentation for AEM environments, deployments, configurations, and processes.

- Create runbooks for standard operational tasks and troubleshooting guides for common AEM issues.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 to 8 years of experience in managing and administering Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an AEM Admin.

- Strong understanding of AEM environments, including AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven).

- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AEM's cloud solutions is a plus.

- Familiarity with AEM monitoring and performance tuning techniques.

- AEM DevOps Admin profile is highly preferred.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Knowledge of Java, OSGI, and Sling is a plus.

- Familiarity with content delivery networks (CDNs) and load balancing concepts.

- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based AEM solutions (Adobe Managed Services).

- Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service.

- Experience using Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or other automation tools for infrastructure management.

- Knowledge of AEM replication, dispatcher configurations, and content management workflows.

- Previous experience in scaling AEM applications and optimizing cloud environments.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
