Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Visit customers premises on service calls to resolve any problems related to closures.
• Make courtesy calls with a view to assisting and supporting customers and developing a better professional relationship.
• Help and advise customers with planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Undertake surveys for conversions, new equipment and efficiency improvements.
• Support, co-operate and work with other members of the Service Team in covering team tasks.
• Liase with other departments in addressing technical and quality issues at customer locations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should be Diploma/BE Mechanical/Electrical engineering with sound knowledge on beverage capping application and service.
• Solid experience of plastic cap manufacture and associated manufacturing faults / problems.
• Self-motivation combined with the ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
• A flexible approach to work, which enables working irregular hours, remote working at customer sites and travel within India and beyond.
• A highly positive and professional approach to customer care based on courteousness, integrity and discretion.
• . High levels of self-motivation, energy and drive.
