Our client, a leading consulting firm, seeks a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to spearhead strategic initiatives requiring seamless collaboration between IT, Business units, and external Vendors.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of multi-stakeholder projects, leveraging innovative approaches to optimize processes, manage risks, and align objectives across diverse teams. The position provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and business strategy, driving impactful results in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager will lead, coordinate, and execute projects focusing on cross-functional alignment and timely delivery.
Core responsibilities include:
- Project Planning and Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership on status, challenges, and milestones.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a central liaison between IT, Business units, and external Vendors, ensuring consistent communication and alignment.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and maintain project momentum.
- Risk and Issue Management
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks to ensure projects stay within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Promptly resolve issues and escalate where necessary to sustain project progress.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of project plans, decisions, action items, and lessons learned.
- Generate detailed and concise reports for stakeholders and leadership teams, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IT, business transformation, or vendor collaboration.
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-stakeholder projects in dynamic environments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycles, and business processes.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Industry expertise in Banking and Financial Services, particularly Retail and Corporate Banking are good to have.
- Advanced interpersonal skills to navigate and influence complex stakeholder dynamics.
Opportunity Details:
Contract Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension
