Assistant manager HR

HR Operations & Compliance

• Oversee HR policies, procedures, and best practices in line with UAE labor laws.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations (MOHRE, Dubai Municipality, DMCC, Free Zone authorities).
• Manage employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
• Coordinate with PROs for visa processing, renewals, and cancellations.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

• Manage payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursements.
• Handle employee benefits such as medical insurance, leave policies, and gratuity payments.
• Track attendance, leave balances, and overtime calculations.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies.
• Support employee onboarding, induction, and exit formalities.
• Address grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and training programs.

HR Reporting & Analytics

• Maintain HR reports on headcount, attrition, recruitment, and employee performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on HR analytics.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-7 years of HR operations experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience in payroll software, HRMS, and attendance management systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred:

• Experience in the Gems & Jewellery industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of Free Zone and Mainland HR regulations.
• Certification in HR or payroll management (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is an advantage.
