Quality Assurance Engineer - TOSCA & qTest (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer with expertise in TOSCA automation and qTest administration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through automation and test management.

This role involves hands-on automation testing, managing test repositories, and integrating tools to streamline quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Testing :

- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using TOSCA.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, integration, and regression testing.

- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, ensuring optimal script performance.

qTest Administration :

- Administer and maintain qTest test management tools, including user access, workflows, and integrations.

- Configure and manage test repositories, ensuring compliance with test strategy and standards.

- Generate and analyze test reports and metrics to provide insights on testing progress and quality.

Collaboration & Integration :

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to identify and address testing requirements.

- Integrate TOSCA with CI/CD pipelines and other tools like JIRA, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

- Provide technical expertise and training to QA team members on TOSCA and qTest best practices.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in TOSCA Automation Tool - test case design, execution, and optimization.

- Proven experience in administering and configuring qTest test management tools.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database validation.

- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.

Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing, with a focus on TOSCA.

- Demonstrated experience managing test repositories and workflows using qTest.
