Job Description
- Should be a Diploma or Graduate in Civil Engineering along with good computer knowledge.
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in Major Highways & Bridge projects costing more than Rs 100 Crore for minimumtwo years on similar position.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and other construction management tools.
- Strong problem.solving, decision.making, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast.paced, deadline.driven environment.
- Chartered Engineer (CE) license or equivalent certification would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee on.site construction activities, ensuring all work is performed according to project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop and implement site management plans, including resource allocation, equipment usage, and materials procurement.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing and maintaining appropriate site safety measures.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors and site personnel, providing guidance, direction, and feedback to ensure high.quality workmanship.
- Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project managers and other stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate site performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to problem.solving and decision.making processes as required.
