Principal Java Developer

Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation Cloud Service (FCCS) is a new consolidation application built for the cloud. It uses Essbase as the multidimensional OLAP engine. We're looking for a senior software developer to help build out key functions of this new product.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Data Structures and algorithm, OOPS
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent design and sharp troubleshooting skills a must
• Should be able to communicate effectively
• Should mentor and contribute in a lead design role
• Should have demonstrated ability to adapt to change and produce results in a fast-paced development organization
• Should be comfortable in delving into the existing code base, propose changes and build on top of it.
• Knowledge of Essbase of any multidimensional OLAP technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Python is a plus.
