Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
As a DevOps Engineer , you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing development tools and infrastructure to streamline continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies, container orchestration, and DevSecOps, you will ensure robust, secure, and scalable systems. This role requires strong collaboration with multiple teams, the ability to lead initiatives, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in DevOps practices and tools, guiding the team and driving best practices.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to make informed decisions and implement effective solutions.
- Lead efforts to build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable delivery workflows.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design and manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes or similar tools.
- Integrate and implement DevSecOps practices to ensure systems are protected against security threats.
- Automate processes using scripting languages like Python , Bash , or PowerShell , and tools like Ansible , Terraform , or Chef .
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins , GitLab CI , or CircleCI .
- Leverage monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus , Grafana , or ELK Stack to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Cloud-Native solutions and ensure seamless API integrations .
- Maintain compliance with security standards and best practices, utilizing tools like Aqua Security , Snyk , or Twistlock .
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing to drive innovation.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins , GitLab CI , or Azure DevOps .
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience implementing security best practices using tools like Aqua Security , Snyk , or Trivy .
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python , Bash , or PowerShell .
- Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation .
