Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

This position is for Application Development Engineering for Designing and implementing Session Delivery Products.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing applications in response to needs
• Collaborate closely with members of other teams throughout the software release cycle
• Write functional and design specifications as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSCS/EE or equivalent experience
• Must have 5+ years of software development experience in C/C++
• Experience with embedded Linux devices
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Networking knowledge and implementation of TCP/UDP/IP is MUST
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (L2/L3), VOIP protocols (SIP, RTP), Real-Time Communications.
• Experience building complex, multi-threaded system software.
• Must be able to work independently
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

• SSL/TLS/SRTP protocol level implementation and knowledge would be a plus
• Knowledge of other security aspects such as Lawful-Interception, IPSec, IKE, EAP, OCSP would be a plus
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
